Abstract

The Sagrada Família Parish, located in Brasília, consists
of an architectural work whose design seeks
to reflect the principles of spirituality, nature and
community. Located on the banks of Estrada Parque
Indústria e Abastecimento (EPIA), the church integrates
harmoniously with the urban landscape and
the cerrado biome.The main structure, composed of
three interconnected volumes, emphasizes spatial integration
and architectural clarity. Heinrich Wölfflin’s
categories, applied to analyze formal and stylistic
aspects, reveal his clarity, linearity and unity of composition.
The subjective analysis of the church image
reveals a deep interaction between the architecture
and the observers, highlighting the centrality of the
circle, the divine presence through light and the poetic
integration with the surrounding landscape. Incorporating
elements of the Renaissance, the parish
not only reflects perfection and balance, but also
promotes an experience of spiritual closeness. Thus,
the Parish of the Holy Family establishes itself as an
architectural landmark that unites the divine and the
human, inspiring a deep contemplation on existence
and the connection with the sacred.
