Abstract

This work aims to emphasize the association of geostatistics procedures to spatial analysis, which are generally used in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The associations between geostatistics procedures and GIS have become relevant in modeling procedures because they aggregate uncertainty measures derived from inferential procedures. This work summarizes geostatistical structure and presents the kriging procedures that are mostly applied as simple and ordinary kriging.
