The study explores and highlights the view that the dramatic form found in Hamlet, in addition to constituting an intellectual and internal tragedy, demands an analysis inherent to its political condition. To this end, it seeks to add critical considerations to the reading of Machiavelli’s tragic conception by Shakespeare.
